Media Coverage

I’m setting up this section for various news and radio outlets who have helped me from day one as a Thank you.  Without you the word would have never gotten out and I’m forever greatful.

My efforts have also been featured on CTV, CBC, Global TV accross Canada you can watch a video interview I did City TV Calgary on the program “Your City ” about Tim Hortons for our troops and the Stamp petition  http://www.citytv.com/calgary/yourcity_51383.aspx

Here is a gallery of some of the other media coverage we have received over the years

Thank you all in where ever you are. I know how hard it is to be a away from home and those you love. My son is in bagdad, he was in the navy and voleentered to run with the army. I very proud of him as I am of my country and all who inlisted to stand for We the people.
Before my son left for overseas he went to N.Y. to see grond zero, he said he just wanted to remind himself again why he does what he does. And being from new york and my son born there, we moved to florida. but that hit home. for me I did’nt know how it really hit home for him. Thank you all God Bless You.

  3. The reason i joined is …….

My husband is a submariner in the United States Navy. My cousin is in the infantry in the United States Marine Core. And my 19 year old brother is leaving this coming Sunday to be in the Marines. Not to mention my family members including my father and step father that have served in the Navy as well. I truly believe that they show us everyday what the price is to be free. I don’t understand how we can have anyone in this country say a word about war and the military and how we stick our noses in other peoples affairs. Why should we NOT help other country’s have the freedoms we have. I love this quote it says so much with little words. ” The cause of freedom, of the defense of man’s conscience, is indivisible. By defending it in one country, we defend it everywhere in the world. ” —- Vladimir Bukovsky

GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS and GOD SAVE AMERICA !!!!

I saw alot of this way of thinking during Viet Nam, and I am sorry to say alot of us went along with and the only people that this thinking hurt was the soldiers. The guys that get sent to fight are proud of doing thier jobs of protecting freedom and it is not right to place the blame of a bad decision that the goverment made on thier doorstep it hurts them and I know first hand the result of that hurt. Where I was one of the agaisnt the war protestors of the 60s and early 70s I ended up the wife of VN vet. The problems that he brought home with me where bad enough the crap that we (the protestors of the war) of the war added so much to it that it weighted him down to his soul ruining his life mine and his childs. He was not to blame for the war he was to one who was proud to go do his duty and fight for me,you and us. Now we are starting to do the same thing again, history repeats itself but not all things in history have to be repeated. Go back to that school and let those parents know let them go back to Viet Nam at the end and follow what happened to most of our boys when they returned show them that they have to divide the men from the war. If that doesn’t work tell them to talk to me.

  8. My one and only son is in a very remote area in Afganistan defending our freedom. Do these parents want to be excluded from his thoughtless sacrafice along with his familys? So do I say son these children do not wish for you to fight for them or their parents. But son there are all the other children in the nation that look upon you as I do, My hero.

  9. U Go Boys,,love ur web pages,,keep it up,,dance,,and sing, and remember we r free, because of what u do everyday,,.AND U WILL ALL BE IN MY HEART AND PRAYERS EVERYDAY.
lOVE U ALL AND GOD SPEED

  10. Deloris Sechler Says:

Let us not forget that not just men/boys went to the wars but also the women/girls did as well. Sons/daughters, brothers/sisters, nephews/nieces, no matter how u look at it they are all over there around the world helping others so that they can be free too. But not just that they are over there training them, rebuilding with them, building with them, teaching skills to them so that they can eventually take care of their country/countries themselves. And remember also that the U.S.A. is not the only country helping over in the war zones, other countries are there as well. Our country is not the only one who has soldiers dying or being crippled physically/mentally, but the other countries have their victims as well. So I thank each and everyone over there for the good of the world and my prayers are not just for the loved one over there but also for peace so none of the soldiers need be there and that each and everyone of them come home alive to their loved ones. ‘nough said:)

  11. Maynard Claycomb Says:

Any one who would not serve their country does not deserve our unfaltering devotion. I served during the first Gulf War. We did nothing compared to these young men today. Still we were there to serve.
    FREEDOM IS NOT FREE!!!
Thank a VET they and all our SOLDIERS and MARINES deserve your respect. Don’t mis understand NAVY and AIRFORCE as well.respect them all. SEMPER FI!!!
I would have joined during WW II. It would have been the right thing to do. It was a greater good to be sure.
